Ninja Nails

Long time no see Bloggity.
Here's the dealio, I'm going to be doing weekly posts rather than daily. It just felt like too much of a chore.

But anyway, here's the reason I wanted to post today. Recently, I've had a resurgent love for Ninja Warrior on G4, especially the new season of American Ninja Warrior. Yesterday was a marathon of the entire season, which got me thinking: "Hey, I should show some love for Team Orosco"

And so came these:

Meistah USA! Meistah Ninja Warrior!
Blue Monkeys rah-rah-rah!

The resemblance is striking, no?

Today, what can I say about today. Everything that could have gone wrong, went wrong. My energies were off, I could feel it. So, there's not going to be much of a blog tonight. It's been getting better though, the longer I stay up. Tonight is just one of those nights I need to take it back to neutral.

Later Bloggity.
I sill love you :P

Hel-row Kitteh!

Changed my nails again. This time to a "blackberry bling" inspired Hello Kitty look. I absolutely love how they came out.

Colors used:
Pink: Strawberry Margarita by O.P.I.
Yellow: Butta by Icing
Black: Reglisse by Sephora
White: Coco by Sephora

I'm starting to really get into nail art honestly. I just need to learn patience, because I rush to put the graphics on a still-wet base coat. Maybe it's good for me.

Today was one of those days where time just doesn't move very quickly. I kept looking at the clock, only to find that what I believed to be 45 minutes was actually 10. What is the phenomena that causes this? Whatever it is, I can't tell if it's annoying, or refreshing.

I just found out that I have a 97.55% in my Psychology class, I'm freaking stoked about that.

Ok, lame blog entry, but my nails are still drying.

"The Bank of Evil, Formally Lehman Brothers"

Uh, hey bloggity.

So , about last night. I went to a party at a house with no internet, and I doubt I would of blogged last night anyway. That's what I was afraid of when I started this blog, I knew that there was no way i'd be able to get on every single day, but I guess it's the thought that counts right? So, i'll do a big ol' recap of today and yesterday and count it as two.

Shhhh, don't tell that i'm cheating.

So, about that party. My friend Cindy's (the blonde one in the post a few ones down there vvvvvvv) mom decided to have a party for some of her co-workers/friends, and guess who was bored? Yeah, me. So, I drove David Greenly (My Nissan btw, he was named after the guy in Boondock Saints XD) down to her house and joined the festivities. First, can I just say that milk and pita chips are AWESOME. Second, Apples to Apples is the best game ever. Seriously, if you haven't played it, get a group together and play that damn game. It's lovely.

So, as we were trying to explain the rules of the game to a few people, Cindy's dad tells us there's cop cars coming down the road, which promptly got out at her neighbors house.

And release the hounds....

You should have seen us all, huddled around the window as we spied on the neighbors with Cindy's mom yelling "TURN OFF THE KITCHEN LIGHTS! THEY'LL SEE US!" It's actually kind of entertaining watching the cops interrogate someone, making up stupid reasons why they're over there in the first place. But then, the shit hit the fan and someone got hauled away in handcuffs. For what, we don't know, but there was no gun battle to our dismay. And I thought we were gonna be on an episode of cops.

So, the next day Cindy and I decided to go to Big Lots, which is an interesting place to say the least. Paula Dean muffins and bedazzled dragon car seat covers all in the same building, AND THEY SELL RED BULL COLA FOR .75 CENTS. Awesome.

After, we went to go watch Despicable Me, which was actually really funny. I guess the most memorable moment was when I found one of those jokes the writers throw in for the parents who get dragged along to the kids movies. When the "Bank of Evil" sign was shown, underneath it said "Formally Lehman Brothers'. I laughed so god damn hard, and apparently the mother behind me heard me point it out, because she did as well.

Well bloggity, I've got classes tomorrow morning, so until later! I'll be seeing ya! :D

The 7 Things to do When You're Home Alone

Ello Bloggity,
Can I just say that waking up at 5:30 on a Saturday is horrible, especially when you think that Saturday is really a weekday and you need to go to school? Well, that was me today. I wouldn't wish that punishment on even my worst enemies. It's cruel and unusual, but is amazing when you get to fall back asleep until 10 AM.

I also got my haircut today, nothing dramatic, just changed my bangs because I'm trying to grow them out. I'd post a picture, but it's not a huge difference, and I doubt you could tell via image.

But the real happening tonight is that my parents went to see Ben Bailey, and I'm more than jealous. The show was 21 and over, because it was in a comedy club. What does that mean? 18 year old Danni can't get in. So, what did I do to entertain myself while they were laughing it up?

1. Ate a mediocre burrito which didn't cook in the 25 minutes and 300 degrees it said it would. Finally had to microwave it and make the insides into lava (I seem to have a problem with burritos...). Turned out to be just alright; in fact, it didn't have much taste.

2. I jumped on my bed for like, two minutes. Second time this week i've done it. Jumping on my bed brings out my inner 5 year old, and when you're home alone, it's kinda fun. Well, until your mattress makes a groaning kind of noise, then you remember that you're 18.

3. I watched 4 episodes of The Dudesons on my Season 4 DVD. My boys never fail to make me giggle, no matter how many times i've seen the episode. I need to get the complete box set. I would buy an all regions DVD player just for that.

4. Texted AJK about pouncing, Cougars, and "Best friends" aka the nice way to say indentured servant. Actaully, that's still happening right now.

5. Ate an M&M cookie from Costco. It was delicious, that is all.

6. Read my new issue of Cosmopolitan, which I have been neglecting to do.

And finally, the most important event of the entire night!

7. NOT DOING MY ENGLISH ESSAY.

Chinese and Jackass

Hey'ya bloggity.
I've got two things I want to put out in the air for today, Chinese food and the Critics Choice awards.

First off, let's think about Chinese food. Sweet, warm, delicious morsels of meat, covered in a yummy sauce. Got your tummy rumbling? Yeah, it had mine to this afternoon. So, after much debate and whining about how much I hated the bland food at my house, I went out with a friend to a Buffett. It was delicious, yes, but what I want to say is that honey chicken should not be served as an entree; honey chicken is a dessert. That stuff is so sweet, that I couldnt more than a small piece or two. Maybe it was just the place we ate at, but seriously, honey chicken is a dessert, or at least needs a sugar warning above it.

Seconds, Critics Choice awards. Now, there's one reason, and one reason only I decided to watch this show. It wasn't to see which movie got best direction or cinematography, it was about the jackass spoofs. If you really knew me, youd know that im a slave for anything Jackass, this included. Those bits made the entire show, especially Black Swan and Inception. Honestly, if they were to make an entire movie spoofing blockbusters with the Jackass cast, id buy a hella expensive ticket and go to the first viewing available. I have to applaud the Inception bit with the golf cart and Chris being the crazy mom from Black Swan, it was just priceless. If you haven't seen the skits, try and find them online at VH1.com or YouTube, you won't regret it.

Well bloggity, I'm taking an early night tonight. I'm getting a haircut tomorrow, so some photos are in order.
See you later :P

*poke poke*

Konbanwa Bloggity,
I'm feeling quite Japanese tonight,

Along with that, I'm job hunting at several different places. It's kinda disheartening to fill out job applications anymore, knowing that there's a slim to none chance of getting called back in this economy. Well, at least I'm trying. And the more I apply, the more likely someone is to take me in for a job, at least that's the theory. What i'm really wanting to hear back from is Starbucks. I've applied for a lot of their stores, and actually have a pretty good drive to become a Barista, at least for the time being.

And, if you will give me a second to complain; AJK and I went to Taco Time today (Second name drop in two days, good deal bud). I ordered my usual pinto bean burrito, and waited on the side for our food to come up. This time, I had a pretty decent view of the kitchen from the angle I was standing at, and I watched them microwave my burrito for WAY longer than it should have ever gone in for. I mean, it was still delicious, but it was like a Spanish volcano whenever I took a bite. A scrumptious, burrito volcano.

So, I don't have all that much to talk about today, sadly, but I will leave you with the single-handed, best picture ever to come out of a Psychology text book. The context of this wonderful image is suppose to be about the Rooting Reflex (Where an infant will turn towards stimulation and begin to suck), but it looks more like an uncomfortable baby, and his want for you to keep your finger away from his god'damn face!

Haha, enjoy and gussuri oyasumi Bloggity :D
