Totem Animals

Tomorrow I'm going to treat myself to a mental health day. Yoga, a massage at 3 o'clock, adjusting the stuffy energies in my bedroom, reading, a nice pot of tea, meditation to Denise Linn, and a good nights sleep. I think that's what I need, because my humors are out of whack; or at least my spine is.

A major part of tomorrow night will be dedicated to recontacting my totem animal, the bobcat. I find it hard to be visual now, even though it use to be easy for me. The night I met my spirit guide, I could clearly visualize each aspect of my meditation, right down to the location I had put myself into. Now, in the phases of recontact, I'm having a hard time seeing anything vivid, let alone anything at all. My body is very testy now, sending signals to itch whilst I'm trying to concentrate. Does anyone have any tips for a higher level of visualization or clarity? I think revisiting my totem would do a world of good right now.

Speaking of totems, I think one of my recent meditations has brought forth another. I keep seeing Falcons and Hawks in my everyday life, something that I rarely have seen at any point in time. I few nights prior, I had laid down in meditation, asking for my totem to send me messages in throughout my day because I was having trouble contacting to him visually. That's when the falcons and hawks began to show themselves. At first, it was a large hawk on the fence beside my house, completely unphased by my presence. Later, I was driving down the freeway would see a falcons sitting on top of multiple signs in multiple places, same with the hawks; bare in mind this was all in the same day. Even my friend who was in the car commented on how strange it was to see this many. Rare coincidence, or another totem revealing itself to me? My gut is telling me the later.

So, does anyone have any advice? Do you think this could be a totem, or even two, revealing their presence in my life to me?

Oh, and completely unrelated, here's a picture of Sigmund Freud:
